1Who can be a member of the AMPCM?
Can be members of AMPCM, as long as they accept statutes, regulations, resolutions and programs of the association:
- The cooperatives
- Other legal entities, national or foreign, that are not for profit. And
- Exceptionally, with the status of honorary member, individuals, national or foreign, who demonstrably carry out activities or provide outstanding work to the cooperative or associative movement, without profit motive.
2How to become an AMPCM member?
Cooperatives in process of establishment:
- After prior evaluation, AMPCM offers training to the group.
- AMPCM supports the group in obtaining legal authorization.

- Wait for the AMPCM General Assemble Approval

5What are cooperatives?
According to article 2, of Law n.º 23/2009 of 8th September - the General Cooperative Law (Mozambique), Cooperatives are autonomous legal entities, freely constituted, with variable capital and composition, with democratic control, where members contribute goods and services to economic activities of common benefit, through risk sharing.
